Michelle Cannigon

JUST AND ORDINARY 17 YEAR OLD GIRL WHO WENT TO A ORDINARY HIGH SCHOOL AND SHE HAD A PASSION FOR MUSIC AND WANTED TO BECOME A SUPER STAR ! AND THATS WHEN SHE DECIDED TO UPLOAD HER FIRST YOUTUBE HIT ‘BELIEVE ME’ BUT SHE WAS MET WITH HARSH CRITICISMS THAT DISCOURAGED HER FROM CONTINUING HER DREAM- “THERE WERE SO MANY DEATH THREATS THAT I DIDN’T EVEN WANT TO DO THIS ANYMORE BUT THEY DIDNT STOP ME, NO, MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS WANTED ME TO PURSUE” AND WHEN SHE RELEASED HER CHART TOPPING HIT ‘WHO SAYS’ SHES NOW ON TRACK TO BECOME THE NEXT BIG SENSATION, AS BIG AS BEYONCE

Rouge: So Michelle, many people have wondered how you have came this far into the music industry can you tell us a little bit about your journey?

Michelle cannigon: before i became this acknowledged, you know that i’m just starting to get noticed from youtube in which many other artist have been recognised from too. My journey was a bit of a struggle, even on youtube as i was getting criticised from my viewers which made me feel like i was unable to carry with my ambiton(singing). I had stopped singing because of that one particular comment that i read on my video which drastically hurt me and with that comment i did not want to carry on with my ambition.

Rouge: if you don’t mind, would you care to tell the rouge readers what that ‘drastic’ comment was ?

Michelle cannigon: ‘you should go cut yourself and have a eating disorder so you can be pretty and then cut yourself and die’ this was one of the spiteful comments that was said to me and i really didnt know that the feedback that i would get back from my viewers would be this negative.

Rouge: have you cried at all, through all of this or did you stay strong ?

Michelle cannigon: when i first saw all the nasty comments, i did cry and thought all this was my fault and maybe i shouldn’t have done this but umm then i got used to it and thought to myself i made an accomplishment and put so much hard work into my song.

Rouge: from when did you start being so confident with yourself ?

Michelle cannigon: it was after a few weeks that i thought to myself that if i have a dream i should follow it and never give up beacause then you will regret it in the future, so i ignored every negative atmosphere around me and all the spiteful comments and did not care about anything but my career and future.

Rouge: has your family and friends supported you through everything and what will be your next step towards your future?

Michelle: ofcourse they have supported me all the way, they were the only ones who had faith in me and were proud of me and to me that is the most important thing. They did so much for me when I was going through a rough time and I appreciate that a lot. I just want to make them proud and show em that if im dedicated to do something I will fulfil my dreams. I think now that I have got to where I have wanted to, I can just relax and keep making my songs at the top of the list and hope the people will support me and like my music really. I have come a very long way after a long time and finally have been delighted to come this far so I am going to carry on with what im doing because I enjoy it and I want people to see that anything you do is possible.

Rouge: have you done a silhouette with anyone, if no, would you like to do it with anyone?

Michelle:  now that I have confidence in myself and I do think I can go further into my future

Font Testing

Different fonts for magazine NAIHA

Ive picked these fonts by thinking about what my audience would be interested in and what font they would like. Personally i like the fifth font as its kind of simple and would go with my magazine. iI is also quite bold so it wil be eye catching and it has a very simplistic look to it and it isnt too fancy. Fancy writing tends to turn out to be unreadable. The second one is kind of similar to the fifth one but i still prefer the fifth one as it is bigger and bolder.

Names for my music magazine

Here are some of the names for my music magazine:
1. Wavelength- i think this name is sort of boring as it has appeared in many magazines

2.Sound waves- this name came across my mind first and at first i thought it was good but then started to dislike it

3. Resinance- this is a very clever and smart name but i don't think many people will understand it

4.Base- base is a very common name and is going to be crossed out from my list

5. Bass- this name is quite common so i don't think i will use it

6. Mellow- i think this name is a decent name and is unique so i shall maybe use this name for my magazine

7.Rouge- i also like this name very much and when i thought of this name i was thrilled because it suited my magazine a lot

9. Yout- this name is too informal therefore i will not use it

10. Basement- this was one of the first names i thought of too but i am sure that i will most probably not use it
